I just returned from 5 days in Como... I may have enjoyed your video more than my visit, ha! You seem like a pleasant couple, with good ideas, descriptions, pacing, and sense of humor (those power lines really DID enhance the view... :). My wife and I stood for 2 hours on a crowded boat from Como to Bellagio, zig zagging across the lake to an ungodly amount of stops. The views of the towns were great, but after 2 hours we were ready to get off the boat and book the speed ferry back (which you can't book online). Your ferry ticket is probably a better option. Anyway, I plan to watch more of your videos. This one was a delight!

Hey guys just got back from Japan last week and me and my wife took your advice and biked around Lake Kawaguchi ❤ So beautiful even tho Mt Fuji was hiding all day until we reached our hotel. I was so happy to finally see it. My only issue while at Mt Fuji is MOS Burger. It was terrible lol. Love your content keep it up. Thank you for all the info. Reason why u need to be quiet:tarsiers are very sensitive to stress so dont squeeze or touch it or they get stressed and bang there head on wood until they die or on smt hard u can take a picture of th tarsier but without light

Guys, does the stove really classify as fixed, if it is attached to a sliding platform? I'm guessing the rule is for safety, so do they allow sliders? Also, are you guys using actual wood? Why not use pvc form board (I think that's what they are called. I usually refer to them as multiwood. They're kinda like compressed thermocol). They can be easily attached together with superglue instead of screws. The joints are super strong if you add strengthening elements. They will be far lighter compared to real wood. And I believe they are fire proof, as they melt like thermocol.

We did our trek August 2022 in 11 days. My tips: for sure Book the Italian Sections well in advance and work backwards from there. Train in advance, we loaded our packs with weights and headed to the ski hill near us ...up and down for hours building up, I did lots of walks around town with the same set up..about 8-10 weeks out. Since we booked so late we had a hybrid experience..refugios, camping and a few nice hotels. We had to carry a tent, and some extra camping stuff, so weight discipline is key...we had quality gear so our load each was 28lbs. If the weather is good Start early and finish late...get out walking early and enjoy the walk, taking lots of breaks stop in at the local boulangerie pubs etc..and EAT...since we were in good shape our pace was too fast and we arrived at many of our accommodations too early and missed out on just taking it all in. Dont stay at the Refugio Croix de la Bonhomme its a dump..so avoid it. I wore Brooks Trail runners...light feet makes easy work of the trail...and they dry out fast. The trail is not super technical so consider lighter footwear. Splurge on a nice hotel in Courmayeur..we stayed one night and wished we booked a day off there. Visit the "Fort de Artillerie" in Champex lac...if you can stay in a hotel thats a good spot as well. Your not missing much in Chamonix, get in and out and spend good time elsewhere. Oh learn how to repair and manage blisters. Bring paracord to hang your wet clothes up after washing in the hotel sink LOL.
